Energy and Telco employers: Give your brightest and best trainees the recognition they deserve at the Annual Connection Excellence Awards 2017!

Nominations are now open in the following categories:

  • Business Support/Retail Trainee
  • Generation Trainee
  • Distribution Trainee
  • Transmission Trainee
  • Telecommunications Trainee
  • Advanced Trainee Trainee

Individual category winners will then go head to head for the Overall Trainee of the Year Award.

In addition to the Trainee Awards, the Contribution to Industry Training Award acknowledges those who have made a significant impact on the success of their trainees through their enthusiasm and commitment to industry training. If you know someone who is leading the way in this area then make sure you nominate them for this high profile award!

Connexis CEO David Worsnop says the Awards are a fantastic way to recognise the industry’s up and coming leaders, along with the people who work so tirelessly to help them succeed.  “Connexis is extremely proud to be holding the Excellence Awards again in 2017. They are the highlight of Annual Connection and offer an unrivalled opportunity to showcase the industry’s talent.”

David adds, “The number and standard of entries continues to get better and better every year, and it is extremely encouraging to see so many individuals and companies doing great things. I strongly encourage employers to enter their future stars and get their achievements recognised.”

All of the finalists and winners will be recognised at the Annual Connection Awards Dinner at Mystery Creek, Hamilton on 14 September 2017. The winners and runners up of the Line Mechanic and Cable Jointer Competitions and other competition awards will also be announced at the dinner.
